'Tis the season for much joy, family, and holiday shopping! We know the mayhem that is the festive season, so little time with your annual holiday parties to gatherings, it’s so hard to get out there and do your Christmas shopping! But don’t sweat it, we sat down with our Pastry Chef Nuria this week to get her ideas on the perfect Christmas gifts!
It might be the season for laughter and celebrations but it’s also the season for butter, sugar and all the good stuff, that’s for certain!
There definitely is something special about giving a gift to someone that you made yourself, the idea of someone spending the time making a present for you is priceless – especially when it’s something yummy to eat!
Nuria shares with us: “An easy yet personal gift is always, the cookie! Gingerbread cookies can be crunchy or soft, spicy or mild, deep and dark, or more golden. I happen to love my gingerbread on the soft side and deep flavour, it has a special place in my heart!"
